Over the years I have met and worked with mums to be in Solihull,Warwick, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Alcester to name but a few and what all these mums had in common was their desire for a photo shoot that captured the precious growing bond between them and their little one.

With each new stage of your pregnancy that passes the special connection and memories to treasure grow, this really is a magical time between you and your baby and with a Little Beanies maternity photo shoot we want to help you capture those memories to look back on as your little one grows.

Little Beanies know it’s important to mums to be that these maternity photography sessions are as stress free and natural as they can be and this is why we don’t ask you to come to use for your session. We come to you.

We can come to your own home or a venue that best suits you in or around the Solihull area as we know that this is the one of the best ways to ensure that as a mum to be you really enjoy the photography session without it being something stressful.

While you can have your maternity photo shoot at any point in your pregnancy we find the best time to have it is between weeks 32 and 37.

The length of time for the shoot will take around 45 minutes unless you have other little ones or additional family members that you want included in which case you can expect it to take a little longer.

As well as a wonderful mum to be session with images to treasure our mums to be also get a discount that you can use against our newborn photography package or our 1st year package, we find a lot of our mums to be come back to us for the 1st year package as it allows them to capture images from birth right through to 1

NB This session fee only includes one 10 x 8 photographic print. It does not include any other images or products, Additional products can be purchased separately after the session. The session fee covers all preparation, travel time, the session itself, editing/post-production and preparing the images for viewing and ordering.

SOME OF THE FINER DETAILS...

Because I don’t need to mould the baby I don’t specifically ask for them to be under 2 weeks old. I believe anytime up to 12 -14 weeks is fine. You may feel more ready at around 6 weeks. For more specific info about the best times and what to expect when please had over to a blog I put together on this here.

For very tiny babies I suggest the home is the best place to keep them nice and cosy. However if you are wanting to get out and about after 6 weeks if the wether is nice you may want to pop out for a bit to get a bit of fresh air. Maybe you would like to go back to somewhere special that means something to you. I’m happy to do both if you select a place close by.

A session typically lasts about an hour with a family. the reason for this is that babies don’t last too long and you are also pretty pooped too. I am really flexible with feeds and settling too so I do allow up to 2 but this is rarely required. As it’s in your natural relaxed setting the baby doesn’t feel any different and we just get some lovely shots of you and your new baby together as a family.

It is so important that you wear what you feel comfortable in as you have just had a baby. I tend to say don’t wear any big logos or loud patterns. No need to coordinate unless you want to. The more comfortable you feel, the more relaxed you and the family will be and one less thing to worry about. For the baby just lovely pastels or whites is fine. there is no need to go out and buy a special outfit unless you want too. Tiny baby grows work really well on my sessions.

The last thing I want you to do is stress about the house when you have just had a baby or you simply don’t have time. I can work in the smallest of spaces and we can move things about on the day. The most important thing is that we capture you, your family and your baby together just being you. This time just goes so quickly.

Absolutely! Although I am very much capturing the moment, I do like to make sure we have a certain number of photos in a certain way. I tend not to ask you to look at the camera much but when I see the time is right I will definitely get a slightly more posed photo. After all the parents love these ones! Generally the session is much more relaxed though and you tend to get the best ones this way in your natural surroundings.
