Gymboree in WarwickshireLouis absolutely loves his Gymboree class. I have seen him learn so much in this magical world, thrive and most importantly have fun with the help of Kelsey who is a fantastic and talented guy…..

I do Gymboree and swimming at Little Splashers (blog to follow soon) with my little boy. I was looking for something as he’d outgrown his baby sensory class (which was also amazing with Jas in Alcester!). I absolutely love music and I know how good it is for children to learn through rhythm so this seemed the perfect fit for us.

I’m not going to lie at first Louis didn’t really know how to take it especially when the drum was first introduced. It’s really loud and noisy but he soon got really involved, in fact so much so he attaches himself to Kelsey all the time!! Sorry Kelsey….

Here’s a bit more about Gymboree

Gymboree are the Global Leader in Classes for Kids

Gymboree Play & Music are the global leader in early childhood development programs. Their age-appropriate activities help develop the cognitive, physical and social skills of children as they play. Their programs are also recognized for their unique approach to parent involvement— which encourages participation in and understanding of each child’s development.

Are The Experts in Early Childhood Development

The class curriculum is developed by experienced child development program directors and incorporate a balanced whole-child approach with activities to support what your child is mastering right now and what he or she will aspire to later. Classes are designed in 6-month increments to meet a child’s unique interests and abilities. From birth to age 5, there’s always something special awaiting you and your child.

Kelsey cleverly sings a song (which by the way does’t leave your head for at leave 24 hours!) but that’s no bad thing because Louis loves it and dances along, whilst blowing bubbles around the room. They are literally mesmerised and use those pinching skills to try and pop the bubbles.

At the very end ‘Gymbo’ comes out to say hello and pretends to be asleep as you can see from the pics above. Again the little ones just love it and anticipate it now every time. I’m also in such a lovely group so I’ve met some fab people too.

I am absolutely certain that Louis has got his rhythm from this class. He has also become such a social little boy, although I do think with parents like myself and Will he doesn’t really have any choice in the matter. Ha ha!

I’m definitely sticking with Gymboree throughout Louis’ childhood. I’m at the Warwick one but they’re all over the country and I know they do taster sessions for those that want to give it a go. So why not give them a call to find out more.

I hope you enjoyed the long Week 25!!! Next week it’s his birthday! A whole year. I can’t believe it.

Lots of love

Lisa xx
