Sammy entered my lovely competition last October when I was at the Birthability show last year. Don’t worry I will be doing another one – you just need to get yourselves down their on May 8th. Sammy and Matilda who was only 10 weeks old were thrilled to bits and I loved our morning together.

Sammy very kindly popped some words together to tell you about her experience with Little Beanies Photography:

“During my pregnancy I came across Little Beanies when looking for a local photographer who took natural photos both during pregnancy and then of newborns. I loved the natural and relaxed aspect of all of the photos Lisa displayed on her website. Unfortunately I didn’t ever get around to booking a ‘bump’ photo shoot before our little bundle of joy arrived, I did however meet Lisa in person at a local Birthability pregnancy and baby fair. As soon as I started talking to Lisa and looking at her work I knew her style of photography was exactly what I was looking for.

 I entered Little Beanies Facebook competition with the prize being a new born photo shoot – I was beyond delighted when Lisa emailed to say that I was the lucky winner! At this point my daughter was not yet born so we arranged a date in February based on the fact that we knew she would be here by then and I would have got through the first few blurred weeks. The second Lisa stepped foot into our home I felt immediately at ease in her company. With her bubbly personality and her friendly approach she started snapping away without me even really realising. I felt no pressure what so ever possibly because we didn’t stop talking! Not only did I feel at ease but Matilda was also completely relaxed, the concept of being able to capture such precious moments in the comfort of our own home was so special especially as Lisa didn’t put any time restraint on our session and allowed plenty of time for feeding etc. 

I feel truly honoured to have won the competition which has resulted in some priceless photos that already mean so much to us and have captured Matilda at such a precious time in her life.. (which is already flying by!) I was so excited when the photos were sent to us and immediately added everyone as a favourite, it was impossible to choose just a few! We have now booked the Little Beanies Watch me grow package and I am as equally excited to for the next two shoots with Lisa. After all these really are precious moments and Matilda is already growing too quickly.. why wouldn’t I want to capture as many happy moments as possible!

It’s such a great way to document your little one during the first year, never missing those key milestones, it keeps your photos consistent by using the same photographer and style and it also saves those pennies too.
