Yes it’s finally here again. The fantastic Birthability Pregnancy and Baby Fair. The last one was such a good turn out last October seeing mums from all over Warwickshire. What’s more I’ll be doing some show specials and a fantastic competition too to win your very own photo session with me…… See who won last year here. Sammy was over the moon and tells you all about her experience.
I met Sarah & Sallyann at their coffee morning they run on a Wednesday. Such lovely ladies and we’ve been doing quite a bit of work together in terms of photography for their site (please have a look here) and other exciting briefs ever since and I’ve got to know them really well. Since we met nearly 18 months ago I have seen their business become more and more popular with mum’s to be, new mummy’s and even those that are on their third or fourth!! I had no idea what a Doula was before I met them but you really should take a look at their website to find out more, I’m seriously considering for my next one!! They also do much more than just being Doula’s, as they also have lots of exciting classes pre and post birth to help new mums become confident and enjoy the beginnings of motherhood.
Their fair that is going to be on Sunday 8th May at Chase Meadow Community Hall 11-2pm, will have lots of exhibitors that really compliment what Sarah and Sallyann are about and do to help you with everything you need to know about pregnancy, birth and life with a young baby. Even if you’ve already got children you may find out more which could really help. So why not head down to find out what it’s all about…and yes I’m pleased to say Little Beanies will also be there.
It will be a great opportunity to meet myself and have a chat about any photography needs you may have or simply just to see my work. Here’s a little bit about what I do.
Little Beanies Style
Firstly, I like to take natural, relaxed pictures in your familiar surrounding or at a location of your choice. I believe that if you are in a very natural setting I can get a lot more from you by being relaxed and less like you are in front of a camera. In fact sometimes you won’t even know I am there.
Secondly, Little Beanies specialises in natural light photography. There won’t be a flash in sight! Which I have been told often makes people feel more at ease, especially when they are not used to being in front of a camera. I tend not to get you to look at the me but for you to just carry on with your every day life. Ok yes, there maybe a little bit of posing but I try to keep it to an absolute minimum so that you can really embrace the moment and I can really capture the true you and your family. Especially the little ones. Little Beanies Photography does everything from bumps to babies to toddlers to large family portraits.
And finally, at the moment, I provide a service which allows you to have a great selection of the high res images from the shoot which tells a story of your time together as a family. This allows you to print and print your images and to make photo books etc so you really can treasure those precious moments.
I simply love what I do. I believe having my own family also adds to the Little Beanies experience. My little boy is currently nearly 18 months old and although I have been taking photos of families and children way before having my own, I think it helps me get the most out of children and really put them at ease. I also have a huge family too with lots of little ones, so I’m always snapping away.
When I get ‘the’ picture which captures the pure innocence of little ones and their families, it makes my love for photography so worthwhile and families I know very happy too. I create pictures that can be treasured forever from a moment in time to look back on again and again.
It’s all about simplicity for me, being real, feeling relaxed and capturing everyday life and most importantly you’ll have lots of fun along the way.
