KAYAK WRWM-11

And here they are the two Will’s in training for their debut trip down the Grand Union Canal from London to Birmingham, all to help raise funds for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity and Molly Olly’s Wishes Charity. Let’s hope that the sun comes out or it’s going to be a wet one.

When the 2 boys said they were going to do this I honestly thought they were joking. At first it didn’t seem such a big deal but imagine kayaking 10 hours a day for 3 days! Wow that’s impressive and there is so much to learn about like, what to eat to keep them going and when to stop for a rest and when not too. It’s actually all very technical. They have literally been training at the Leamington Kayak Club and on the Canal just down the road about 5 times a week over the last few months to be able to even contemplate this mission. It take skill and determination and these boys have definately got it in them so come on please support them in their mission to get to Birmingham.

In order to donate it’s simple, just go to their just giving page and more information is on here. They are trying to achieve £15k so anything will help them on their way. Here are some more pics of them in training. Enjoy. And wish them luck. Thanks again for your help.
